Girl Caught with Fake Documents for Two Cats at Ercan Airport
At Ercan Airport, police detained a young girl who arrived in the TRNC with fake veterinary documents for two cats. The court ordered the suspect to be detained for one day.
The suspect, Özge Kırışoğlu, appeared in court. According to a police officer, the suspect was caught with forged veterinary documents for the two cats she brought with her. In court, the girl claimed that the fake documents were given to her in Turkey by her father and his friend.
The police requested to keep the suspect in custody for further investigation. After evaluating the witness statements, the judge ordered the girl to be detained for one day.
