New Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Opens at Famagusta Hospital
The Famagusta State Hospital has officially opened its new neonatal intensive care unit. The ceremony was attended by TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel and Minister of Health Hakan Dinçyürek.
In his speech at the opening, the Health Minister expressed hope that this unit, developed in collaboration with Eastern Mediterranean University, will benefit both Famagusta and the country as a whole.
The Minister also highlighted that, beyond the neonatal intensive care unit, significant investments have been made in oncology, cardiology, and other departments within the hospital. Additionally, ongoing collaboration with the university will focus on enhancing human resources.
Hakan Dinçyürek expressed his gratitude to Eastern Mediterranean University and wished the new unit great success.
