A new tomograph has been installed at Famagusta State Hospital
A new modern tomograph has been installed at the State Hospital in Famagusta. Minister of Health of the TRNC, Hakan Dinçyürek, spoke about the delivery of the long-awaited equipment during a visit to the medical institution.
According to the minister, the Ministry of Health announced several months ago that a new tomograph would soon be available at Famagusta Hospital.
The Minister of Health noted that the new tomograph can take images much faster and is also capable of performing peripheral angiography and three-dimensional imaging.
"We are proud to put the new tomograph into operation. Today we start providing this service to patients. With the help of this device, we will be able to provide better quality service to patients. We are very pleased about this," said the minister.
Recall that in early February, it was reported that a new X-ray machine appeared at the Burhan Nalbantoglu State Hospital in Nicosia. The old X-ray machine had been faulty for the past six years.
