Foundation Laid for Future Degirmenlik Health Center
Today, a ceremonial foundation-laying event was held for the Degirmenlik Health Center in the TRNC. The new medical facility is expected to be completed within 8 months.
The ceremony was attended by TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel and Minister of Health Hakan Dinçer. Also present were officials from the contracting company and local residents.
The reconstruction of the Degirmenlik Medical Center began following the earthquake in Turkey on February 6. In November, the building was demolished due to high-risk assessments conducted on public buildings.
The new health center is anticipated to be operational in 8 months.
It has also been reported that three new medical centers will be established in Northern Cyprus soon. The tender processes are completed, and contracts have been signed.
