Three-Year-Old Injured in Famagusta-Karpas Highway Accident
A serious traffic accident on the Famagusta-Karpas highway left two people injured, including a three-year-old child. The vehicle veered off the road, crashed into an embankment, and overturned.
According to the police press office, the accident happened yesterday afternoon. A 34-year-old driver was traveling from Kumyalı towards Ziyamet when, near the 43rd-44th kilometer of the main road, he lost control of the vehicle, went off the shoulder, hit an embankment, and overturned.
Both the driver and a three-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the car, sustained injuries. They were taken to Famagusta State Hospital, where they received medical treatment and remain under medical observation.
