Turkish military ships will be displayed in Famagusta and Kyrenia
Turkish military ships will arrive in Northern Cyprus. On April 23, they will be available for visiting by interested individuals at the ports of Famagusta and Kyrenia.
According to information provided by the security forces command, as part of the celebration of National Sovereignty and Children's Day on April 23, the assault ship TCG İmbat (P-335) will visit the TRNC in the tourist port of Kyrenia, and the Patrol Ship TCG Bozcaada (F-500) will arrive at the port of Famagusta. The ships can be visited from 10:00 to 17:00. The visitation conditions for the vessels are not specified.
As a reminder, the national holiday of Sovereignty and Children's Day (Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı) is celebrated in Turkey and in the TRNC on April 23.
In honor of the holiday, solemn ceremonies and festive events are traditionally held in schools and certain districts in Northern Cyprus on this day. The holiday program for Northern Cyprus has been published earlier.
