A new public beach will appear in Famagusta
The Municipality of Famagusta continues to expand infrastructure for the region's residents. By summer, a new equipped public beach will appear in the vicinity of the district.
The plans for creating a bathing area were announced by the Mayor of Famagusta, Suleyman Uluchay.
"The area where Famagusta residents first swam in their childhood will serve as a public beach," said the mayor the day before.
The beach in Gülseren, which will soon become public, is in the process of being prepared by the municipality for bathing purposes, particularly in the part adjacent to the Karakol district.
Thus, it will be possible to reach the new beach directly from the city center.
"We will continue to work to make our seas accessible to everyone," summed up the mayor.
It is worth reminding that earlier it was reported that by summer, the number of municipal beaches in Kyrenia would increase to three.
