In Gaziveren, a pallet fell from the eighth floor of a construction site and killed a worker
A tragedy occurred at a construction site in the village of Gaziveren in Northern Cyprus. A pallet that fell from the eighth floor crushed a worker to death.
According to the police press service, the incident happened early this morning, around 8:00, at a construction site owned by the company Evergreen. 37-year-old Ali Hossein Sohag, who was working at the construction site, suffered serious injuries as a result of the wooden pallet falling from the eighth floor.
The fallen structure struck the worker on the head, and due to the injuries sustained, the man died at the scene of the incident.
The police investigation into the tragedy is ongoing.
