A new police station has opened in Gönyeli

The new police station in Gönyeli will start operating from today. It will serve the populated areas of Gönyeli, Yenikent, Alayköy, Kanlıköy, Yılmazköy, Türkeli, Gürpınar, and İkider.

The new police station is located in Gönyeli - Yenikent, to the north of the Police School management building.

In a statement, the police emphasized that the Gönyeli Police Station has been put into operation "to provide higher quality security services to the developing and growing Gönyeli and neighboring settlements." The police station is included in the Internal Organization Regulation of the police organization.

The responsibility area of the new police station includes: Dr. Naim Adiloglu Street between the Metehan border gates and the Metehan roundabout, Nazım Hikmet Street between the Metehan roundabout and the national sovereignty monument, Hasan Tahsin Street between the national sovereignty monument and the Ortaköy traffic lights, Ali Rıza Efendi Street after the Ortaköy traffic lights, Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu Street, and the Gönyeli roundabout on the western side of the main road from Nicosia to Kyrenia.

The Alayköy Police Station, which serves regions other than Gönyeli, will continue to serve the residents of Alayköy as part of its regional jurisdiction and will receive centralized support from the Gönyeli Police Station.
