In Kyrenia, more than 10 kilograms of narcotics were seized
During a special operation conducted in Kyrenia, police teams from the Department for Combating Narcotics and Smuggling seized 10 kilograms of prohibited substances. Two suspects have been arrested for three days.
According to the police press service, during the operation conducted on March 18, two young men aged 27 and 31 were detained. During the search of the suspects' house and car, a total of 10 kilograms and 214 grams of narcotic substances, presumably cannabis, as well as sensitive scales and some amount of British pounds in cash, were found.
Today, the detained individuals appeared before the court, which decided to detain them for three days for further investigation.
Both suspects provided voluntary confessions.
