Asphalt Paving to Begin on Excavated Roads in Nicosia
The Turkish Municipality of Nicosia (LTB) has announced that asphalt paving will commence on the previously excavated sections of several roads.
According to a statement by the Turkish Municipality of Nicosia (LTB), pipe testing conducted over the past two months, following sewer infrastructure upgrades on Mehmet Akif Street (Dereboyu) and Gültekin Şengör Street, has been successfully completed.
Preparations for the asphalt paving will begin on Saturday, October 26, at 5:00 AM. During this time, traffic flow in both areas will be managed accordingly.
The actual paving of the roads will take place on Sunday, October 27. Traffic will be monitored and controlled by the Traffic Department of the Turkish Municipality of Nicosia throughout the process.
The statement also noted that once the pipe testing is completed, paving work will extend to Bedrettin Demirel Street, where sewer work is still in progress.
