A New Park for the Red Crescent Housing in Lefkoşa
Efforts are underway in Lefkoşa to develop a new neighborhood park for the residents of Red Crescent Housing (Kızılay Evleri). Construction of the recreational area is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
This public space, designed with children’s playgrounds, is part of a citywide initiative to expand green areas and create more neighborhood recreational facilities.
“Neighborhood parks are fundamental to improving urban living standards. With the Kızılay Evleri park, which we are funding entirely from municipal resources, children in this densely populated area will have a safe and enjoyable space to play, while residents will have a welcoming outdoor area to gather and connect,” the municipality announced.
The park will include play areas for children, benches for relaxation, and landscaped greenery to enhance the overall environment.
