In Nicosia, a quad bike driver died after fatally hitting a stray dog
Another fatal traffic accident occurred in Northern Cyprus. In the Organized Industrial Zone of Nicosia, a quad bike driver crashed, fatally hitting a stray dog.
According to the police press service, the accident occurred yesterday afternoon, around 16:20, on the 3rd Street of the Organized Industrial Zone in Nicosia. The 27-year-old Omer Gezer was riding a quad bike and hit a stray dog. The animal died on the spot from the impact. After the collision, the quad bike collided with two parked cars and overturned.
The driver of the vehicle, who suffered serious injuries, was taken to the Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Nicosia. Despite all the efforts of the medical staff, they were unable to save the man, and he died from his injuries.
