On the first day of April, the heat soared to 31°C in Northern Cyprus
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Monday, April 1st, the region is experiencing the influence of high pressure and warm, humid air. Northern Cyprus is experiencing cloudy weather without precipitation, with dust in the air and high temperatures.
Today, thermometers will rise 9-11 degrees above the seasonal climate norm. The maximum temperature in some areas will reach 31°C.
The wind is northwesterly, of moderate strength. No storms are expected in the region today.
One meteorological warning remains in effect for the region: dust from North Africa, which arrived in the TRNC, will persist in the air until April 4th.

Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 25°C, Lapta – 24°C, Akdeniz - 30°C, Alevkaya - 28°C, Esentepe - 27°C.
Western Coast: Lefke – 27°C, Guzelyurt – 31°C.
Central Part: Nicosia – 31°C, Ercan – 31°C.
Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 28°C, Iskele – 30°C.
Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 26°C.
