Large Shipment of Potency Gel Seized at Famagusta Port
Customs officers at Famagusta Port have seized a large shipment of illegal sexual enhancement gel that was being smuggled into the country.
According to the police press office, the incident took place yesterday morning at around 10:15. During an inspection, Customs and Excise officers discovered 4,200 bottles of potency gel hidden in 12 cardboard boxes inside a truck. The shipment was intended for illegal importation.
Authorities confirmed that the product violates the Medicines Law and is banned from being brought into the country. The truck, which arrived by ship from abroad, was driven by a 36-year-old man, who was taken into custody for further investigation.
