Diplomas and Report Cards Distribution Begins in TRNC Schools
In Northern Cyprus, the distribution of diplomas and report cards for the 2023-2024 academic year has begun. Today, middle school students will be the first to receive them.
According to the TRNC Ministry of National Education, report cards will be handed out in middle schools on June 11 and in primary schools on Friday, June 14.
After receiving their diplomas, 25,079 students from middle and high schools under the General Secondary Education Directorate, 3,894 students from 12 schools under the Vocational and Technical Education Directorate, about 400 students from Apprenticeship and Adult Education Centers, and 26,577 students from 125 schools under the Primary Education Directorate will go on summer break.
Entrance exams will take place from June 12 to 21.
Applications for vocational high school programs from students who have completed the 8th grade will be accepted from June 20 to 25, and enrollment in the 9th grade of vocational high schools will be announced on Friday, June 26.
The 2024-2025 academic year for primary schools will begin on Monday, September 16, and for general secondary and vocational-technical schools, it will start on September 17.
