Coastal Police Building to be Constructed in TRNC for 35.6 Million Lira
A contract has been signed for the construction of a coastal police building in Northern Cyprus, with the project costing 35,684,000 Turkish lira.
The agreement for the second phase of the construction of the Directorate General and Operations Center for Administrative Affairs was signed between the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation and Coastal Safety and Ship Rescue Ltd.
According to the ministry, the project had faced delays for various reasons, but Coastal Safety and Ship Rescue Ltd. will now proceed with building the facility. The new building will serve as the headquarters for the company and the Ship Traffic Monitoring Systems.
The head office and administrative operations center will be located at the Famagusta port. The construction is expected to be completed by May 20, 2025.
