Tax Filing Deadline Extended in TRNC
The Ministry of Finance of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has announced an extension for filing tax returns and making tax payments. The new deadline is now June 21, 2024.
The original deadline for tax returns was between June 15-20. The extension allows for the conclusion of the Kurban Bayram holiday, which will be celebrated in Northern Cyprus from June 16 to June 20.
The next five days will be public holidays in the TRNC due to the celebration.
"Due to the Kurban Bayram holiday, the deadline for filing and paying tax returns, originally due between June 15-20, 2024, under the income and tax administration laws, has been extended to June 21, 2024," stated the Ministry.
