The TRNC has banned entry to seven Iranians, and another seven people have been declared persona non grata
The Council of Ministers of the TRNC has banned entry to the country for seven individuals of Iranian nationality. Additionally, seven people of various nationalities have been declared prohibited immigrants.
The decisions of the Council of Ministers were published in the "Official Gazette".
According to the document, the citizens Ali Abbas Nia, Fatemeh Goroudji, Fereshteh Abbas Nia, Mohammad Hossein Abbas Nia, Khananeh Ahmadi, Hadi Ahmadi, and Maligheh Abbasnia are working for the Iranian intelligence agency, and as such, their entry to the TRNC has been prohibited in the interest of public safety.
Moreover, the Council of Ministers deemed that citizens Selahattin Sashkin, Kaan Gunes, Renno Kadak, Andrey Karpov, Yeremia Chigozi Ahamefula, Tabeal Obioma Moses, and Joshua Steven Avana, by their actions, posed a threat to public order in Northern Cyprus or stirred hostility among the population of the TRNC.
As a result, it was decided to declare them prohibited immigrants in the country.
