A bus caught fire in the center of Nicosia
In Nicosia, a fire broke out in a bus today. The fire completely destroyed the vehicle.
According to emergency services, the fire started today around 13:20 on Mustafa Ahmet Ruso Street. Preliminary data suggest that the cause of the fire was a short circuit in the electrical part of the bus engine compartment.
The fire was extinguished by the fire brigade that arrived at the scene. As a result of the fire, the interior, ceiling, and seats of the bus were damaged. Also, due to the high temperature, the front, rear, and side windows melted.
There is no information about injuries resulting from the incident.
