This weekend in Northern Cyprus, a championship in mountain racing on sports cars will take place
The first race of the 2024 Northern Cyprus championship in sports cars will be held on Sunday, April 14th. Five races will be held for the first time on the new track Karaagach-Alevkaiyasi.
The organizer of the races is the Touring Car Association of Northern Cyprus (KKTOK), with the main sponsor being the Tuning Torch company.
A total of 23 drivers will participate in the races, including last season's champion Denis Denner, as well as Lucas Christoforou and Salih elikkaya, who gained fame during last year's championship. Also, Ahmet Bagryacik, the last champion in one of the categories.
The race will begin at 10:45 AM with a drift show by the championship's top pilots. The spectator area will be located on Karaagach Road, and the service area will be at the intersection of Karaagach and Esentepe.
