Second Charity Beach Clean-Up by Cyprus FAQ Team Set for May 3
The Cyprus FAQ team is organizing its second charity clean-up event in Northern Cyprus, taking place on Saturday, May 3. This time, volunteers will focus their efforts on cleaning Mare Monte Beach in Alsancak (Kyrenia). Everyone is welcome to join!
The clean-up is being held with the support of the local municipality. The official start time is 11:00 AM, but participants are encouraged to arrive a bit earlier. If you can, please bring your own gloves and trash bags — they’ll be useful during the clean-up.
The initiative, held under the motto “A Clean Island Starts With You,” is being led by a group of dedicated citizens with the support of the Cyprus FAQ project. Their mission is to improve the environmental health of Northern Cyprus, one clean-up at a time.
