The heat in Northern Cyprus has slightly subsided: the temperature will drop to 31°C
According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Thursday, July 4, the region will continue to experience low pressure and hot, humid air. Meteorologists predict clear to slightly cloudy weather.
The air temperature remains within seasonal norms. The hottest weather today is expected in Nicosia and Ercan, with temperatures reaching up to 37°C, while the "coolest" will be in Lapta at 31°C.
The wind will be southwesterly and moderate in strength. No storms are expected today.
There are three meteorological warnings in effect for Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires has been downgraded to high. The level of ultraviolet radiation remains very high.
Additionally, today after lunch, the region will be covered with dust from North Africa, which will linger in the air until noon on Saturday, July 6.
It is advised not to stay under the sun for more than 10 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.
