Heat Eases: Dust and Strong Winds Expected in Northern Cyprus on March 18
According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, low atmospheric pressure and cool, humid air will continue to affect Northern Cyprus on Tuesday, March 18. The forecast calls for cloudy but dry weather, with temperatures rising 4–7°C above the seasonal average. Most areas will see temperatures ranging between 20–25°C.
Meteorologists have issued two warnings: African dust will remain in the air until noon today, reducing visibility and air quality. From midday until 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 19, strong northwesterly winds are expected, with gusts reaching up to force 7 on the Beaufort scale.

- Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 20°C, Lapta – 18°C, Akdeniz – 22°C, Alevkaya – 20°C, Esentepe – 20°C
- Western Coast: Lefke – 25°C, Güzelyurt – 24°C
- Central Region: Nicosia – 25°C, Ercan – 27°C
- Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 22°C, İskele – 23°C
- Karpas Peninsula: Yeni Erenköy – 22°C
