Residents of Iskele and surrounding villages will learn about sexual health

In Iskele, training sessions on sexual health titled "Sexuality for Everyone" are kicking off. Four weeks of free public education will be available to all residents of Iskele and 21 other villages.

Public training sessions are being conducted as part of a cooperation agreement signed between the municipality's health department in Iskele and the Near East University. The organizers include the Faculty of Sexual Health at the Near East University and the Center for Gender Studies and Application (TOCAM).

The first public training sessions took place yesterday at Kuzucuk Village and the women's courses in Bogazici Village. Buses arrived for the lecture from Synyrystyu, Aygun, and Etuken. The session was led by the faculty member of the Maternity and Women's Health Nursing department at NEU, Associate Professor Dr. Dilek Sarpkaya Guder.

Training on sexual health, open to both women and men, will continue for four weeks.

The next session will be on Thursday, January 11, at 10:30 at Ergazi Village Lodge and at 14:00 at Yarköy Culture, Art, and Education Association.

The third training will take place on Thursday, January 18, at 10:30 in the village hall of Ardahan and at 14:00 in the building of the Altinova hunting and shooting estate.

The fourth and final week of training will begin on Thursday, January 25, at 10:30 in the village hall of Kalecik. At 14:00, the session will be held in the old elementary school building in Kaplica. The last training on the topics "Sexuality for Everyone" and "Sexual Health" will take place in Iskele.

Buses will be organized for participants from other villages to attend all training sessions.
