TED North Cyprus College
Description
TED Northern Cyprus College, the first educational institution of the Turkish Education Association Abroad, began its education at the kindergarten, primary, and secondary school levels in the 2010-2011 academic year. TED Northern Cyprus College High School started its operation in the 2013-2014 academic year and graduated its first students in the 2016-2017 academic year.
The TED Northern Cyprus College campus, with its covered area of 16,500 m² built on 30 acres, offers services at the preschool, primary, middle, and high school levels. The school, with its physical structure and technological equipment, is primarily designed as a safe learning environment for students; it also supports the intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development of its students and encourages their growth.
On the campus, there is a kindergarten building with 120 places, a primary school building with 360 places, a middle school building with 216 places, a high school building with 384 places, an indoor sports complex, an indoor swimming pool, a cafeteria building, outdoor playgrounds and sports fields, an administrative building, and housing for teachers. All classrooms are equipped with computers, projectors, and internet connection, and the electronic classrooms have smart boards.
TED Northern Cyprus College, which carries the mission and vision of the Turkish Education Association aimed at improving the quality of education and training and continues on its path without deviating from its set goals, strives to educate individuals who can think freely and critically, be productive, act with scientific reasoning, possess high self-confidence, and have the qualities of “citizens of the world” who care about and are sensitive to their environment through a modern approach to education.
