Can you transport an animal from Northern Cyprus to the Republic of Cyprus?

According to the rules of the TRNC and the Republic of Cyprus, the transportation of any animals across the border via land checkpoints is prohibited. The rules are very strict: if a pet is found in the vehicle, it must be euthanized by law. Therefore, taking the risk is not worth it.
