In Famagusta, bike sharing has basic stations, and the operator is the same company as in Nicosia, Velespeed.net. However, unlike the capital city, there are only 8 rental stations in this city.
How to Rent a Bike
At the Docking Station
- Touch the screen to activate
- Select "Bike Rental"
- Enter the number of bikes to rent
- Select the pricing plan
- Confirm agreement with the Terms of Use
- Insert your bank card (Visa or Mastercard) into the reader and then remove it
- Enter your mobile phone number
- Check the payment amount and confirm it
- Print the 5-digit trip code
- Enter this code on the bike station keyboard within 5 minutes
- After the green light appears at the station, take out the bike
Using the App
- Download the CycleFinder app for Android and iOS) and register
- Select 'Velespeed Famagusta' from the city options
- Enter the number of bikes to rent
- Select the pricing plan
- Fill in user information and payment details
- Accept the terms and confirm the transaction
- Click on the chosen station and the lock image to create a temporary trip code - do this at the station, the code is valid for only 5 minutes!
- Enter the 5-digit code on the bike station, wait for the green light, and take the bike

- Park the bike at one of the bike stations
- Wait for the green light to turn on
- Make sure the bike is locked on the bike station
