The white passport in Turkish is called Beyaz kimlik and is essentially one of the types of residence permits. However, to obtain it, the applicant must meet a number of requirements.

Requirements for Beyaz kimlik

• The applicant must have had a work or business visa continuously for 6 years.
• The candidate must have their own or rented property in Northern Cyprus.
• The candidate for obtaining Beyaz kimlik must have a conclusion from a state hospital indicating the absence of the following diseases: tuberculosis, hepatitis B and C, AIDS, and some others.
• A certificate of no criminal record.
