What is the overstay visa penalty?
At the beginning of 2022, a fine for each day of visa delay - 208.3 TL per day. To avoid unnecessary costs, remember the date of entry into the territory of the TRNC and take into account that the visa is valid from the day of arrival.
To find the exact expiry date of your visa, visit the police station of your place of residence or the migration authority. The addresses and contact details of the police stations can be found on the official website of the police: http://www.polis.gov.ct.tr/iletisim.aspx.html.
The amount of the fine may change with TRNC legislation. Be sure to clarify this point upon entering Northern Cyprus.
