Rainy, Windy, and Dusty Weather Expected in Cyprus on November 1
According to the Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus, low-pressure systems forming southwest of the island will gradually impact the region starting Friday, November 1. Strong northeasterly winds are expected to dominate, with dust lingering in the atmosphere.
Partly cloudy skies are forecast for the morning, followed by rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon, particularly in mountainous areas, inland regions, and in the western half of the island.
Meteorologists predict daytime temperatures will reach around 27°C inland and along the coasts, and up to 17°C in mountainous areas.
In the evening, skies will gradually clear, though intermittent clouds could bring isolated showers, mostly along the coastal areas.
Nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to 15°C inland, 18°C on the western and northern coasts, 20°C on the southern and eastern coasts, and around 10°C in mountainous regions.
Local showers and isolated thunderstorms are also expected on Saturday and Sunday, with a chance of hail during thunderstorms.
Saturday's temperatures will stay relatively stable, remaining slightly above seasonal norms, though a gradual drop is expected by Monday.
