11 Illegal Migrants Deported from Paphos
Authorities conducted a special operation in Paphos to identify illegal migrants, resulting in the deportation of 11 individuals found to be residing unlawfully in the Republic.
According to the police press office, the operation took place in Paphos on Wednesday between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM. It involved personnel from the asylum and migration department, along with a group monitoring the "green line."
After the checks, five men and six women were identified and deported to their country of origin later that same day, boarding a flight from Larnaca Airport at 8:00 PM.
