Cyprus to See Continued Heat Up to 41°C on August 14th, with Rain in the Mountains
According to the Cyprus Meteorological Department, on Wednesday, August 14th, the region remains under the influence of seasonal low pressure and warm air masses. The weather is expected to be mostly clear in the morning, but increased cloudiness in the mountains during the afternoon may lead to isolated showers.
The meteorological service forecasts that daytime temperatures will reach up to 41°C in inland areas, 32°C on the western and southwestern coasts, around 35°C on other coasts, and up to 31°C in the mountainous regions.
By evening, the weather will remain mostly clear, though some areas, particularly along the coasts, may experience low cloud cover.
Overnight, temperatures are expected to drop to 24°C in inland areas and along the coast, and to 21°C in the mountainous regions. In the coming days, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear, with occasional cloudiness.
Until Saturday, temperatures are not expected to change significantly and will stay above the seasonal average.
