On July 17, Cyprus will experience heat up to 41°C and isolated showers in the mountains
According to the Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus, the region will be influenced by seasonal low pressure and an unstable air mass on Wednesday, July 17.
The weather will be mostly clear in the morning. However, cloudiness will increase in the afternoon, leading to isolated showers, mainly in the mountainous areas.
Daytime temperatures are expected to reach:
- 41°C in inland areas
- 33°C on the western coast
- 35°C on the other coasts
- 31°C in the mountainous areas
By evening, the weather will be mostly clear, although some areas may experience increased low cloudiness.
Nighttime temperatures will drop to:
- 25°C inland and on the southern and eastern coasts
- 24°C on the western and northern coasts
- 21°C in the mountainous areas
In the coming days, temperatures are expected to gradually rise and exceed the average climatic values.
