Cyprus Weather Forecast for July 19: Highs of 42°C and Rain in the Mountains
According to the Cyprus Department of Meteorology, on Friday, July 19, the region will be affected by seasonal low pressure.
In the first half of the day, the weather will be mostly clear. However, increased cloudiness is expected in the second half of the day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible, mainly in the mountainous areas.
The meteorological service forecasts that daytime temperatures will rise to 42°C in the interior regions, 34°C on the western coast, 37°C on the other coasts, and 32°C in the mountainous areas.
By evening, the weather will remain mostly clear. Temperatures will drop to 24°C on the western coast, around 25°C inland and on the other coasts, and 21°C in the mountainous areas.
Temperatures are expected to remain significantly above average until Monday, with no substantial changes.
