Cyprus Weather Update: Temperatures to Reach Up to 39°C on July 2
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, seasonal low pressure will affect the region on Tuesday, July 2.
In the morning, the weather will be mostly sunny, although there will be increased cloudiness in the mountains at noon and in the afternoon.
The meteorological service forecasts that daytime temperatures today will reach:
- 39°C in inland areas
- 36°C in the southeast and on the east coast
- 35°C on the north coast
- 34°C in other coastal areas
- About 29°C in the mountainous areas
By evening, the weather will be mostly clear. Temperatures will drop to:
- 24°C inland and on the coast
- 19°C in the mountainous areas
Temperatures are expected to rise slightly on Wednesday, then decrease and approach average climatic values by Friday.
