June 21: Heat and Dust Expected in Cyprus
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Friday, June 21, the region will continue to be affected by weak low pressure. Dust will occasionally appear in the atmosphere.
This morning, the weather will be mostly clear. There may be increased cloudiness along the coasts in the early hours. In the afternoon, increased cloudiness in the mountains will lead to rain, possibly with thunderstorms.
According to the meteorological service forecast, today's daytime temperatures will rise to 39°C in inland areas, 30°C on the west coast, 32°C on other coasts, and 29°C in the mountainous areas.
In the evening, the weather will remain clear; however, localized low cloudiness is expected along the coasts. Later, and in the early morning hours, light haze or fog may form in some areas.
Nighttime temperatures will drop to 20°C inland and on the coasts, and to 17°C in the mountainous areas.
Temperatures are expected to decrease on Saturday, remain close to average climatic values on Sunday, and slightly rise again on Monday.
