On January 22, Cyprus is expected to experience fog, dust, and isolated rain in the mountains
According to the Republic of Cyprus Meteorology Department, on Monday, January 22, the region will be affected by weak low pressure.
Today, in the first half of the day, after the dispersal of fog and low clouds, the weather will become mostly clear in some areas. Subsequently, an increase in cloudiness is expected with isolated rain, mainly in the mountains and in the west. Thin dust will be observed in the atmosphere from time to time.
According to the meteorological service forecast, during the day, the air temperature will reach up to 19°C in the inland areas, up to 20°C on the coast, and down to 10°C in the mountainous regions.
By the evening and night, cloudiness will temporarily intensify, and brief rains and thunderstorms are possible, mainly on the eastern coast.
The air temperature will drop to around 9°C in the inland areas, down to 14°C on the eastern coast, down to 12°C on the remaining coasts, and around 3°C in the mountainous regions.
On Tuesday, significant temperature changes are not expected, but a slight decrease close to average climatic values is anticipated until Thursday.
