On January 3rd, in Cyprus, cloudy weather with brief rains persists
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Wednesday, January 3rd, the region is under the influence of weak low pressure.
Today, in the first half of the day in the western part of the island, the weather will be predominantly cloudy with possible isolated rains. Later, local cloud cover is expected to increase in the southeast, leading to additional rain. The wind will be southwest and northwest, ranging from weak to moderate.
According to the meteorological forecast, the air temperature during the day will rise to 22°C in the inland areas, on the southeast and east coasts, 21°C on the west and southwest coasts, 23°C on the north coast, and 13°C in the mountainous regions.
By evening, locally increased cloudiness is expected, and in the west and north, there will be brief rains.
The air temperature will drop to around 8°C in the inland areas, 11°C in the southeast, east, and north coasts, 14°C on the remaining coasts, and 4°C in the mountainous regions.
Until Saturday, the temperature will not change significantly and will fluctuate above the average climatic values.
