A 30-year-old man died while playing football in Limassol
In Limassol, a 30-year-old man tragically passed away. He lost consciousness while playing football with friends.
According to the police press service, the tragedy occurred the evening before, shortly before 7:30 PM on an open football field in Limassol. One of the players suddenly felt unwell. An ambulance arrived at the scene and transported the patient to the hospital.
Despite all the efforts of the doctors, they were unable to save the 30-year-old man, and he passed away.
Limassol police are investigating the sudden death of a person at the football stadium. It is expected that the exact cause of the young man's death will be determined following an autopsy.
