A motorcyclist plunged into an 80-meter ravine in Limassol and survived

In Limassol, a 30-year-old man fell into an approximately 80-meter-deep ravine while riding a racing motorcycle. Remarkably, he survived the fall and even managed to call for help.

According to the police press service, the incident occurred yesterday afternoon around 13:35. The motorcyclist contacted the police and reported that he had fallen into the abyss while riding in rugged terrain southwest of the Agia Paraskevi picnic area.

A police officer from the Kalos Horio station arrived at the scene and found the 30-year-old man at the bottom of a steep gorge approximately 80 meters deep.

The fire service, ambulance, police, and forestry department were then summoned to the ravine. Using specialized equipment, firefighters successfully rescued the victim and extracted him from the ravine. Subsequently, he was examined by an ambulance crew.

It was determined that the 30-year-old man was uninjured and did not require further medical attention.
