British Couple to Use Lottery Jackpot for Dream Wedding in Paphos
A lucky couple from the UK has won a major lottery jackpot, and they’re planning to use the winnings to fund their dream wedding in Cyprus.
Rachel and Callum, who live in the charming town of Woodbridge near Ipswich, Suffolk, recently scooped up a £320,000 prize in the popular Postcode Lottery, as reported by Omegalive.
Callum was quick to thank his fiancée, Rachel, for encouraging him to buy the winning ticket.
The couple, who have been playing the lottery for the past 6-7 years, were thrilled by their massive win. It came at the perfect time—right after Rachel’s birthday, the proposal, and booking their wedding ceremony.
"I was proposed to on August 3rd, my birthday was on August 23rd, and we booked our wedding for June next year—then we won the jackpot! As for the wedding, I’m definitely not going to hold back on the dress," Rachel shared with excitement.
The couple, who have been together for eight years, also revealed they’ll use the jackpot to fund an intimate wedding ceremony in Paphos, Cyprus.
