Bronze Bell Stolen from Saint Nicholas Chapel in Chloraka
The Paphos Police are investigating the theft of a bronze church bell from the Saint Nicholas Chapel in Chloraka.
According to a statement from the Spiritual Committee, the theft allegedly occurred either on Friday or Saturday evening.
The stolen bell is estimated to be worth 3500 euros. For the past 30 years, it has been situated on a small bell tower on the grounds of the church, located near the public stadium in Chloraka.
The theft investigation is being conducted by the Paphos Police. Law enforcement officials believe that the perpetrators' goal is to sell the bronze, from which the bell is made.
