Heavy Snowfall Restricts Access to Some Roads in Cyprus to 4WD Vehicles Only
Due to heavy snowfall, several mountain roads in Cyprus are now only accessible to 4WD vehicles or those equipped with snow chains.
According to the police press office, as of March 20, the weather conditions have worsened traffic in the following mountain areas:
- Karvounas – Troodos
- Platres – Troodos
- Prodromos – Troodos
Elsewhere, especially on main roads, traffic is moving smoothly without any major issues.
