Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in Cyprus by Evening: February 4 Weather Forecast
According to the Republic of Cyprus Meteorology Department, a weak low-pressure system is affecting the region on Tuesday, February 4. However, starting Wednesday, a cold air mass and stronger northerly winds will move in, bringing a noticeable change in weather conditions.
The day will start mostly clear, but clouds will gradually build up as the day progresses.
Forecasters expect daytime temperatures to reach around 19°C inland and along the coast, while mountain areas will see highs of about 11°C.
By evening and overnight, the weather will turn partly to mostly cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the western half of the island. Snow may fall on the highest peaks of the Troodos Mountains.
Nighttime temperatures will drop to around 5°C inland, 8°C along the coast, and 3°C in the mountains, where frost may develop in some areas.
On Wednesday, unsettled conditions will continue, with partly cloudy skies, scattered showers, and isolated thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon. Snow is expected in the mountains.
By Thursday, temperatures will drop significantly, falling below the seasonal average. No major changes are expected on Friday.
