Evening Freezes Possible in the Mountains: Weather in Cyprus on December 19

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Tuesday, December 19, the region is under the influence of weak high pressure, and from Thursday, weak low pressure is expected.

Today in the first half of the day, the weather will be predominantly clear, with temporary cloudiness expected in the southwest. Winds will mostly come from the northeast, and on the western coast, they will shift from the southwest to the northwest, ranging from weak to moderate.

According to the meteorological forecast, the air temperature will rise to 20°C during the day in the inland and coastal areas, and approximately 10°C in the mountainous regions.

Tonight, the weather will remain predominantly sunny. The air temperature will drop to around 7°C in the inland areas, 11°C on the eastern coast, 9°C on the rest of the coast, and about 3°C in the mountainous regions, where local freezes are expected.

On Wednesday, the weather will be mostly clear, but by the evening, high and then medium cloudiness will increase.

The air temperature until Wednesday will not change significantly and will remain slightly above the seasonal level.
