Cypriots Urged to Cancel Any Travel Plans to Iran
Due to recent events in the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus advises citizens planning a trip to Iran to cancel their plans. The directive from the Ministry, prohibiting any travel to Iran, comes into effect on August 6.
At the same time, the Ministry offers advice to Cypriots who are already in Iran, providing information on all necessary communication channels in case of an emergency.
In particular, Cypriot citizens in Iran are advised to remain vigilant, closely monitor events and information from international and local media, and take maximum safety precautions.
Cypriot citizens are also encouraged to register on the online registration platform for Cypriots abroad, Connect2CY.
