Road fatalities decrease in Cyprus
In 2023, the number of road fatalities in Cyprus has decreased. Since the beginning of the year, 28 people have died in accidents, compared to 37 during the same period last year.
This information was provided by police spokesperson Christos Andreou. He also expressed hope that there would be no more road deaths in 2023.
Recall that it was previously reported that from Monday to Sunday, a coordinated operation is taking place in Cyprus to identify drivers who are operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The operation is organized in collaboration with the European Road Network and takes place in all European countries.
