The Republic of Cyprus Meteorology Department has announced that storm “Bora” is expected to affect the island on Monday, December 2. This weather system, which has already caused disruptions in Central Greece, is moving southeast toward Cyprus.

According to an official from the Meteorological Service, Greece’s National Meteorological Service classified “Bora” as a significant weather event requiring an orange warning or higher. Over the weekend, Greece was under a red alert due to intense rainfall.
