Cyprus to Expect Heat Up to 40°C on June 26
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Wednesday, June 26, the region will experience seasonal low pressure.
In the first half of the day, after the local fog and low clouds dissipate, the weather will become predominantly clear. Increased cloudiness will appear in the mountains after noon.
The meteorological service forecasts that today's daytime temperature will rise to 40°C in inland areas, 32°C on the west coast, 34°C on other coastal areas, and around 33°C in the mountainous regions.
By evening, the weather will be predominantly clear, although there will be temporary increases in low cloud cover, mainly along the coasts. In the morning hours, primarily in the southeast, thin fog and low clouds may form in places.
The air temperature will drop to 24°C inland and in the mountainous regions, and to 24°C on the coast. It is expected that until Wednesday, the air temperature will gradually rise slightly, and on Thursday it will not change significantly, continuing to fluctuate above average climatic values.
It is expected that until Friday the temperature will not change significantly. On Saturday, the temperature will drop to average climatic values or slightly exceed them.
